How do you "share" a custom theme with a PC user?

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel I'm looking to create a PowerPoint presentation and customize it so it includes only a specific swatch of colors, font set, background slide images, etc. From reading in the forum here, it seems what I want to do is develop a THEME and save it.

What format should I save it in so someone on a PC can open the presentation with the theme present, or apply it to thir own presentations?

Is it a template (.potx) or theme (.thmx)?

Thanks.

It sounds like what you ultimately want to do is create a custom Template &
supply a copy of it to other users. See the PPT Help topic: 'Create and
apply your own template' for detailed information. If you search the Help
using 'template' as the keyword you'll find additional related information.

Themes in PPT 2008 are a little 'weakly' implemented. Although you can
customize a Color Scheme you are restricted to using one of the Font Schemes
supplied with the program. The Help search suggested above will provide
topics on that subject as well.
