How many PPT files have been created -

a) since the dawn of time (!)

b) How many are created every day? [ last I heard was... 30 - 40 million ]

Anyone heard of current statistics on this?

interesting question. At my former large telco, we used to lovingly refer to
the company as the "PowerPoint Factory" ... poking fun at those 6 figure
managers and exes who wasted coporate time and money chasing down that "must
have" little bit of excessive visual fluff .. value added? I think
not!

Sadly, I have seen WAY to many of these same management/neophite PPT users
seriously load up corporate laser printers with version 78 of printed PPT
drafts!
Paperless PPT office of the future? I think not!
