How not to spell check a part of a document?

i need to mark a part of my document not be checked for misspelling. my
document is long and because of that i always get that message that there are
too many misspellings that spilling checker has to be turned off. and i
cannot turn it on back again. custom dictionary will not work for me (too
many words).

Select the text and go to Tools | Language | Set Language. Check the box for
"Do not check spelling and grammar" (Word 2000 and above) or select "(no
proofing)" as the language (Word 97 and earlier).
