I have set options to show or clear the most recent items list in Word, Excel
etc. How can I do that in Publisher 2007 to clear Recent Publications?

Only through the registry

Microsoft Office Publisher 2007

Warning Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by
using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require
that you reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these
problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk.

To clear the list of recently used files in Publisher 2007, delete the registry
subkey that contains the list. This registry subkey is re-created the next time
that you start Publisher 2007. To delete this registry entry, follow these
steps:

1. Exit Publisher 2007.
2. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
3. Delete the following registry subkey:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Publisher\Recent File List
4. Exit Registry Editor.

Thanks Mary,

What happened? It's much easier to do in the other MS programs. Thanks again.

Publisher 2007.
I have used this method for a long time. Mainly because I didn't know how to
do the job.
Sounds a long tedious way, actually it takes just a couple of minutes.
So easy without deleting from the Registry.
1. There are only nine documents to be dealt with.
2. Create a Blank document (nine times in succession)
3. Renaming each document "Save as" 1 - 9, to a Newly named Folder to
the Desk Top
4. When all is collated in this New Folder, drag Floder to the Recycle
Bin,
5. There will still be a list in the Recent Documents but they will all
be BLANK.
6. FWIW if you still don't want your work to be accessed then just Delete
from your Recycle Bin.
7. Trouble is, I think the Recent Documents need to reach a list of (9).
Someone with more savvy than me may come back with the correct answer.

I do something similar ... (didn't know about the Registry fix) ... I just
keep opening one of my existing Publisher files until the one I don't want
showing drops off ... vanilla
