How to convert the export field to numeric field formet

When I export the project schedule to a spreadsheet with fields like
work (in days), e.g., "4d", is there a way I can export the field in
numeric format so that I can do some computation in the spreadsheet?

Thanks.

Hi Frank,

During the export, you cannot change the format of the Project fields to
anything other than text.

A workaround in Project is to add a custom Number field and create a
formula in the number field of:
[Work]/480

This will drop the this will export the work in "days" (assuming 8 hours
per day) without the "days" label. Then export the custom Number field
instead of the Work field.

The other option is to manipulate the data once in Excel to strip out
the label.

Hi,

Just a detail that may help in this sort of problems.
Instead of using 480 (with the remark of ... but only if) best is to use
[Minutes Per Day]
The field can be fould under Project, then number
