How to customize work measurements in 2 languages in MsProject

I need to have the possibility to display duration and work in "d" or "j". I
have the English version of project.

Is it possible to customize the work or duration units in more than one
language?

I believe that the units are localized according to the language settings on
the machine. So you can probably have one OR the other but not both.
By using a custom field and a formula you can convert the duration and work
values and append a "j" if you like, but then the values in that column will
not be directly editable.

The formula would be something like this if duration is in days

[Duration]/480 & "j"
