Would you please let me know how to delete a text between {}?
Hi Leila,
Including the braces?
Edit > Replace, check "Match wildcards",
Find what: \{[!\{\}^13]@\}
Replace with nothing.
"Find what: \{*\}" would probably work, too, but might delete a lot of text
if a closing brace is missing.
So it's safer to exclude nested braces, and limit the match to a paragraph
(^13 = paragraph mark).
BTW, don't want to insult you, but it's real braces, not field braces?
Those, you could delete with a regular (non-wildcard) Find/Replace,
searching for ^d.
More info about wildcard searches can be found in the help, and at
<
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/UsingWildcards.htm>.

Klaus
