how to display properties

Hi there,

I want to show one of the user defined properties in the Text Box of a
shape.

How can I do this?

Instert -> Field - choose the field for the a custom field i.g. User.Row_1

I did so, however I do not find an entry in the custom field like User.Row_1

Are you familiar with 'ShapeSheet'?
If not, find out how to use this tool. As as starter, select the desired
shape, go Windows -> ShapeSheet. View the user properties section to find
the row name that contains your field. Use this as the row name - not
User.Row_1.

User.Row_1 is a generic name that is the default for a row, it may have been
renamed as User.LWHeight or something. In which case User.Row_1 will not
work.
