how to draw in PowerPoint without a mouse?

I use my Dell laptop to draw a dirgarm but there is no mouse but a touchpad.
In this situation, how can I enlarge a rectangle with keyborad and/or
touchpad?

Most touchpads also have the mouse-like buttons under the pad. Simply press
the left button, use the mouse pad to draw and release the left mouse-like
button when done.

Dear Bill:

Great thanks. It works. Another issue is that I use line to constitute an
irregular diagram. How could I take it as a whole and fill it with a color?

Thanks,
Liu

Use the freeform AutoShape type (AutoShapes => Lines => Freeform (center
bottom icon). It will behave like a series of lines, just double click the
left mouse-like button to close the shape. Click and drag first line, then
click for each of the subsequent line-ends, double-click to auto-close the
shape.

There is a wonderful article on editing the points in Bezier curves by Echo,
the line ends work the same way. http://www.echosvoice.com/beziercurves.htm
