how to get back my unknowingly unistalled office XP home edition .

I purchased my HP pavilion system with MS office preloaded. My OS being
Windows XP home edition, my office was also the same. It is one year that I
have purchased it. Recently I happened to see windows service pack 2 update.
I downloaded and installed it. I am now working with that updated OS
version only. Thereafter, when I asked for office update over the net, the
office site scanned my system and said MS office service pack 3 is available
for me, which after I went through the tedious installation procedure
realized it was professional version with front page. My installation got
terminated due to it asking me for the CD, which I am not given. The patch
file which it was asking for was proplus.msi. I downloaded that also from a
private site, but still could not complete the office XP installation. When
I went into my "add and remove program" in control panel, it showed me the I
have Office XP professional version rather than my old version, which I
presume should have been present as the new version did not go through its
complete installation procedure. So I gave uninstall for the professional
version as I thought it will be occupying unwanted space as it was
incompletely installed. After that got unistalled, I realized my system do
not have any office and that the unistall procedure which I did has removed
the whole of my office from the system. When I used the system restore
module, it restored me back to just after when I installed my windows service
pack 2. But now, when I click any word file or for that matter any of the
microsoft applications I get an installation pop where it says office XP
professional with front page is getting installed, but I terminate it when I
find it ends abruptly asking for the CD or the proplus.msi file. Now I am in
a situation where I can not use my either my old version or the new one and
cant open any Ms office files. Whenever I open a file, it does not get
opened and the installation process and my cancelling it takes place. I
would be most happy if somone could tell me how to get my "old is gold"
version of my MS office, which I am very much satisfied with.

Thank you
