How to get Office 2000 uninstalled

I purchased a used computer with Office 2000
loaded. It has never worked correctly, and
I'd like to uninstall it.

My problem is, when I try to uninstall, it
asks for the original disks (which were
apparantly on a network at some point).
Can I get the tool to stop trying to find
this disk?
