How to initialize data in Form Query?

When users goto Query on a form, the data
should get initialized. At present it retains
the query criteria that I give.

How can I initailize it.

You might want to rephrase your question. What do you mean
by "When users goto Query on a form"? Perhaps some code
snippets would help.

Geof,

There is no code snippet, after users open a form
in menu selection they select Records -> Filter by Form ->
at this time blank form appears then they enter
search criteria by going to any field they want to do
search on. 1st time its blank and on subsequent tries,
it retains the value/values they had entered before,
this is where I want the form to appear blank
it shouldn't retain values.

I'm having trouble reproducing what you're describing,
sorry. This form is a datasheet?
By the way you are in the formscoding group. That doesn't
excuse my ignorance though. Perhaps you should repost in
forms.
