Roger,

I can't consider myself to be more dumber than this,
it didn't occur to me.

Shall I conclude that there is no other way to do it?

Thanks much,

I can't state positively that there is no other way. Everything is
impossible until somebody does it.

You could undoubtedly create an ActiveX control that has all the behavior of
a command button AND allows caption justification, but it doesn't seem worth
the bother. Unless your are sizing the button or form dynamically for some
reason, I can't think of a better (or simpler) way.

You could also create a small Bitmap file using MS Paint with the caption you desire and then assign
this bitmap file to the Picture property of the command button. I have done this in the past when I
wanted either a custom button graphic or a button that had text and a graphic.

Just a thought, but it is more work.

Instead of a button, you can use a label. Labels have click events and you can
control the appearance of a label to make it look like a button. You do have
the problem that a label can't be hotkey'ed (alt+a letter). But that can be
worked around.

Or you can build your button as normal, make it transparent and put a label
under the button using the bring to front on the button.
