How to make bookmarks move with text - Pub07

In Pub07, is there a way to make bookmarks maintain relative position in
relation to text? I have eg 12 paragraphs and I've created 12 bookmarks
positioned before each paragraph. If I add text, the paragraphs of course
re-position, but the bookmarks don't and I have to re-adjust the bookmark
positions individually.

Is there any way to make the bookmarks move automatically so as to maintain
intended position for the paragraphs to which they relate?

You can try. Create the text box, insert the bookmark within the text box,
right-click the bookmark, click format object, layout tab, inline with text.

Good luck with this. Let us know if you have success. I'd like to see your
result if possible.

Hi Mary,

Tks for your replies. Ref first method, if I right-click on the bookmark
itself, I don't get a "format object" option in the drop-down menu, I get
cut/copy/paste/del/save as pic/zoom with add to content library and edit html
code fragment grayed out.

In case I misunderstood, I also tried dropping the bookmark into a text box,
then formatting the text box inline. The text box stays nicely inline if I
add text above (I just hit enter a few times), but the bookmark stays where
it was initially.

It's as if the bookmark is quite independent of text boxes.

I've also tried linking the bookmark to a graphic, for example, in the same
way that you can group objects, hoping then to put them inline, but no go,
the bookmark won't group.

Ref second method you mentioned, seems to me the bookmarks would still stay
independent (see above re trying to put the bookmark into its own text box).

Tks again, if you have any other/further suggestions, I'd much appreciate.

Bert
