I've been away from Office for several years. Used to make gif files from
various text headings with a gif program. What is the quickest way to make
gif file of your text to retain the font when gif is used on a webpage?

You can do a Print Screen, then open your favorite image editor, Paste,
Edit, Save as a gif.
