Hi Dave,

If you have an OEM copy of MS Office 2003 it's
not transferable (linked to the original machine).
If it's a retail edition you may want to review the
license agreement (EULA) through 'help' in one of
the Office apps to see what your edition allows
as far as additional machine installs vs. uninstall,
install on new then activate.

Thanks Bob for the reply,

My copy is not an OEM and the EULA does reference Transfers are allowed

"SOFTWARE TRANSFER. Internal. You may transfer your copy of the Software
to a different device."

Just not sure what the best way to do that. Is there such a thing as
"unactivate" ?

Hi Dave,

There isn't an deactivate feature, but you can
install on the new device and if the online activation
does not work use the telephone activation feature
to speak to a MS activation tech.
