how to move outlook folder on taskbar to make distribution group?

I have several folders containing email addresses on my Outlook taskbar ..
I'm trying to move these addresses or copy them into new distribution groups

What are "folders containing email addresses?" Do you mean you have several
Contacts Folders containing Contact Records?

There is no way to import data directly into a DL, only into Contacts.
I still don't understand what you mean by "folders of email addresses." I
assume you are referring to some sort of file outside your Outlook Data

select all addresses, then action a new message to contact .. this was the
only way I could import and export those particular groups to others in my
office .. now I want to try to take those shortcut folders and move the names
into a distribution list, can it be done?
