How to move the dir MSOCache to another location ?

After having installed MSOffice 2003 there is a new folder D:\MSOCache.
How can I move safely this folder to another location e.g. C:\tmp ?

Is there a setting in MSOffice/MSWord to inform MSOffice about the new location?

The MSOCache is not a set of temp files. The folder should
be off of the root of the drive, not in a subfolder.
