How to password protect one web page

I want to create a web page on an existing web site that
is password protected so that only users knowing that
password can see/have access to the page. I am using
Front Page 2002.

If you are only going to protect a page or two you could use a simple asp or java script. Here is a resource with several simple scripts: http://www.aspin.com/func/search?tree=aspin&qry=password&cat

If you are looking to protect a variety of pages, you may want to consider creating aq sub web and applying unique permissions. This will require your hosts supports FrontPage sub webs
