How to put + sign in cell, not formula?

I need to put a plus sign (+) in a cell, but it won't let me just have that
sign because it thinks it's a formula. How do I get it to just have it as
text? Thanks!

Either format the cell as text before you put the data in, or precede the
data by an apostrophe.
