How to reference a table in a document footer

If you put a table in a document's footer it does not appear in the Tables
collection.

How do I access it?
ie
Set MyFooterTable = MyObjDoc.TheFooter.Tables(1) !!!!!!!

like this:
With ActiveDocument.StoryRanges(wdPrimaryFooterStory)
.Tables(1).Cell(1, 1).Range.Text = "Cell(1,1)"
End With
