how to remove microsoft groove from my system?

I had created an account in the Groove. Later, i found that it is of no use
to me as I am a student. I deleted my account but a pop up comes whenever I
log in to my system. Due to this it takes a long time to get booted up. I
need to either block the pop up or want to remove Groove from my system
without affecting other 2007 Microsoft Office Documents. Can you help me
please?
