1) In the Registry drill down to:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\
2) Locate the GUID for Office in the Subkeys. You'll probably need to
select each one until you see "Microsoft Office..." in the Display Name
on the right. It would look something like:
{90280409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0050048383C9}
3) Locate the UninstallString and double-click it. Then copy the Value.
(<Ctrl C>)
4) Go to Start/Run and paste (<Ctrl V>) the copied value and change the
"I" to "X" (It's after the forward slash and before the GUID). It should
look something like:
MsiExec.exe /X{90280409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0050048383C9}
5) Run the command
Note that you will still need to follow these KB articles if you want to
completely remove the Office once this is complete:
