How to restore deleted contacts sub folder

I deleted a contacts sub-folder that I thought was empty, but it contained
sub-folders with contacts. It does not appear in the Active Folders Deleted
Items folder (as will deleted individual contacts). How may I restore the
sub-folders?

If you also deleted it from Deleted Items, it is gone. Restore from your
most recent backup.
