how to save all emails in outlook to local folder

I have a new computer now. Now I want to save all my
emails in the outlook on my old computer in to my zip
disk and move them to my new computer. So how can I save
them all in my zip? I tried the export, archive. But none
of them worked. I heard that eudora has such function. Is
it that outlook cannot?

Try exporting to a .pst file. Then open the .pst file in Outlook on your new
pc (File, Open, Outlook Datafile). Then you copy the messages any folder in
Outlook on your new pc.
