How to save for viewing only

Is there a way to save a presentation to a CD for viewers so that they cannot make changes to the slides. I do not want a slide show format on the web. Can you set limits to what someone can do to your slide show? Thanks!

You can if you have PowerPoint 2002 or 2003, but you haven't told us what
