How to select only a few taskcolumns (no gantt chart) for a print

T

Ton den Brok

In order to derive two or more forms out of one file, it is necessary to
select only a few of the taskcolumns. The planningchart will only be selected
in one form, together with some of the taskcolumns.
It would be easy if the selected columns and chart could be saved as forms.
How to do this?

Hello Ton,
For the "selected" columns, you may build a new Table : Views / Table / More
Table / New....
and insert all the fields you want
You can create a new View which will associate this new table and the Gantt
chart
View / More Views / copy the old Gantt Chart , replace the old table by the
new one, ...

Dag Ton,

I'm afraid I'm not very sure what you mean by "select" and "form".
To create a table (a table being the set of columns visible in a view) that
only contains the desired columns, simply select the column, edit, Hide
Column

(To get it back afterwards use Insert, Column)

What is "saved as forms"?
Try Edit, Copy Picture. Is that what you mean?

Hope this helps

(FYI there is also microsoft.public.nl.office.project)
