How to send a distribution list from the Outlook Contacts folder .

I want to send a distribution list from my Outlook Contacts folder to another
Outlook recipient.
Help says, open a new message, click on the message body, then Insert - Item
BUT there is no Item in the Insert list ..!!

Are you using Word as your e-mail editor? If yes, look for the paperclip
icon. There should be a down arrow next to it. Select the down arrow and
see if you have the Item option.
