Hi Avinash,
If you are working in a language where text is entered Right-to-Left then the ruler measurements in Word start from the right
margin. You can use the Right to Left/Left to Right text direction choices on the toolbar or the setting in
Format=>Paragraph
to change to text entry in Left to right (or you may need to modify your style if it's set to Right to Left as a default) to get
this to 'stick' as a permanent change.
