How to set the default font size of all the shapes in Visio 2003?

Default font size for all the shapes in Visio 2003 is set to 8pt. I want to
change this default setting to 7pt or say any other, so that every time I
select the new shape, font size is set to 7pt and not to 8pt.

Unfortunately there is no global setting for all shapes. If you have some
that you consistently use you can consider changing their attributes by
editing their stencils.

You have the possibility to default some value.
For the font do the following :
unselect all shapes of you drawing, set the font size to a value.
all subsequent text will have the new font size.
You can do the same for text color, test style, fill, line, ...
