How to Spell Check the entered data in a protected form

I have set up the form fields and protected the document. However, the Spell
check function doesn't work. I need to be able to spell check the data that
is typed into the form before I save it. Any advise? I would prefer not to
unlock the document, because there will be multiple users. Thanks!
