How to stop documents getting opened with an uninstalled font?

I uninstalled the font pMingLiU from Windows XP. Then I opened a document
which was previously saved in that font (pMingLiU). How to stop this..? I
dont want that document to get opened in that font.

You can't stop it if the font has been embedded into the document
(Tools/Options/Save). Try turning off this option, then File/Save As to a
different name, close, open that new file and see if it's changed?
