How to sync online mailbox calendar with offline PST calendar

Hello All,

I use an offline PST file to receive and store outlook mail, calendar
items, contacts, etc and want to sync my pst calendar with the online
mailbox calendar on the MS Exchange server.

A google search revealed a number of commercial products that would
perfom the syncronisation but they generally offer too much
functionality, as all I want is the calendar sync facility.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on the best way of acheiving
this?

Sorry if this has been asked before but I'm new to this group.

It's asked about once a day. No such functionality is built into Outlook. Third-party tools exist to provide, as you already know.

The real question is: Why not just use the Exchange mailbox and an offline folders .ost file? That would avoid the entire issue.
