The formula i wrote isn't getting the results I thought, how do you go about
debugging a formula?

There are a few ways.
1) post the formula here and tell us what you are expecting and what results
you are getting.
2) break it down into small pieces. Start with the first piece. If it works,
add the next and so on until it breaks. Now you know where it is wrong. The
