how to use microsoft.com emails

When I first used e-mails on computer, I was only able to send via
Microsoft.com email, but could receive them via another email address. That
problem is sorted but now I don't know how to get microsoft to send emails
again.

Not sure what you mean. Microsoft.com email=?
You won't have a microsoft.com e-mail account unless you work for
Microsoft....
