How to verify which Office XP Pro updates already installed?

I ran the MS Office website tool that supposedly gives a list of all updates
currently loaded on my desktop for Office XP Pro ... it replied with (39)
updates loaded.
My question...how do I actually locate & verify those updates on my
computer? I checked Control Panel for all software loaded ... none of those
updates were listed. Then I performed three individual complete drive
searches for each of three separate files with the MS (KB #) in the file name
to verify that they were resident on the drive ... also no file(s) found with
those knowledge base #'s listed.
So...how any suggestions on how I could verify verify that those updates
have actually been installed would be appreciated.

Try going back to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. At the top there is a
check box to show updates. Checking the box should help. If I understand
correctly, only those updates that can be uninstalled will be listed. There
are some updates {such as Service Packs} that can only be removed by
uninstalling Office and reinstalling. However, I could be in error.

Don MI...I did go to "Add/Remove Programs"...there is no option to display
"updates". The "Add/Remove" option does display all Win-XP updates, but no
other MS program updates. Perhaps I have some other issue(s) at work here?

In Add/Remove Programs, at the top, the right side, you should have a check
box labeled "Show updates" . If the box is checked, Office updates should be
listed under the entry for Microsoft Office.

Don MI....thanks for the reply, but...

My laptop does display that option in "ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS". My desktop
(which is the computer in question) does not display that option. I guess
that I might have to re-laod Win-XP, SP2 again ?

Any other suggestions? If you do, thanks. If not, I appreciated your help.
