How to view a mdi file created in Office 2003, if you have Office

C

Chris A Myers

I was given a file that has a mdi document type. He told me he created it my
printing a web page to mdi format using office 2003.

How do I view this document?
I use office 2002, and the MDI view doesn't recognize this format.

Hi Chris,

Unfortunately, for now, having an Office 2003 product installed is the only way to make use of the MDI files. You can save to TIFF
(with color) from inside MS Office Document Imaging, but the file size will probably be larger.

You can also copy 'pages' from Office Document Imaging and paste them into a Word document or a graphics app and save there to send
them to other folks.
