How view entire Note containing carriage returns in Task view?

I have carriage returns in my task notes. I'm trying to display the notes in
a column of the Task view, but it doesn't display the part of the notes past
the first carriage return. Is there a way to see the entire note in the Task
View if it has carriage returns in it?
