HTML font size will not keep settings.

I can customize the font settings for plain text, but How
do I customize the font size for html mail when
reading/printing? I click view_>fonts->smaller and it
works for that message. If I close it and reopen the font
is back to medium. I need all HTML mail that I read to be
at the smaller font size. Any ideas other than setting
this every message?

2. Select Options
3. Select the Read tab
4. Click "Fonts" button at bottom
5. Change the default settings
