hyperlink pointer

Mariann

I'm using Word 2002 to create webpages. I've created a navigation bar using
tables and images, hyperlinking each image to documents. When still in web
layout view, the pointer changes to a finger but when I look at it in Web
Page Preview, the pointer doesn't change. It works for all of the text
hyperlinks in the document, just not for the images. The links work, it's
just the pointer doesn't change.
Any suggestions?

Hi Mariann,

You'll likely need to use File=>Save as Web Page-Filtered
in Word 2002 for the cursor to change due to the way that Word
is embedding the graphics in the web page.

Be sure to make a .doc copy first before using the Filtered
web page version.
