Hyperlink problem

Just me

I have created a page in Publisher 2002 and trying to add hyperlinks within
the text box. I have followed the procedure, but when I email the page to
test it, the link does not work. I can get the hyperlink to work on an
object, but not in the text box. Can you help please? Thanks
