Hyperlink problem

I have Outlook 2003 and have updated it with Office SP1. however, when I
click on a link in an email, it prompts an error message saying it cannot
find \\http:\\website.com\

Is there a way to correct this.. I tried using the Detect/Repair on the
Office install, but I cant find a way to fix this. Is there anything in the
registry that could help.


If anyone could help I would appreciate it.

And what were you told when you asked this question in
the Office and Outlook newsgroups?

contact the person who sent you the email, they probably put the link in wrong.
the format \\http:\\website.com is incorrect anyway - did you try going to your
browser and typing in the address (minus the leading '\\').

yep... it should be http://website.com
