Hyperlink Problems

Confused Publisher

I'm working in Microsoft Publisher. After I insert a picture and the
associated hyperlink into my newsletter, I can't go directly to the website.
A messsage comes up "CTRL+ click to follow the link." I know you can disable
this message in Word, but how do you do it in Publisher? I can't figure how
to do it. HELP
