Hyperlink to slides

Hi

I have created a .ppt with linked video files that play in their own
slide from a hyperlink in the "homepage" (slide1). On first click of
the link (while running the presentation), the videos play
automatically (intended) but on linking to the slide containing the
video for a second time, the video does not play automatically.

Does anyone know why?

Also, I have a background sound file playing during slide 1. This also
does not re-trigger when linking back to the slide- any ideas?
