Hyperlinks from email not working

WHen I click on a hyperlink from within an email nothing
happens. Outlook XP running on Windows 2000 with IE 6.0,
all patches are applied. I can copy and paste the link
into IE and the page will display, I just can't click the
link from within an email. If I have IE opened and then
click the link from the email - it still doesn't work.

Any ideas?
