Hyperlinks in HTML format email

Attempts to open a hyperlink in html formatted email
results in a temporary hang and then nothing. If I
convert the email to plain text the hyperlink works fine
and opens IE to the correct url.

I've had the same problem using Outlook 2003. My Mail
Format was set to HTML. When composing an e-mail I select
the address then choose Mail | Plain Text or Mail | Rich
Text from the Outlook menu and it works.
