Hyperlinks not working

I have recieved emails with links to documents on network
drives and I have never had a problem clicking the link.
For some reason I am no longer able to successfully open
the hyperlink. Now when I click on the link (old or new
emails) I get a navigation window that pops up.

I am using outlook 2000 and using rich text format for my
emails. Any ideas?

Browse to IEXPLORE.EXE. This should be a one time only event.
