I am having a problem with database in works

I AM GETTING AN ERROR MESSAGE WHEN I TRY TO ACCESS PREVIOUS USED DOCUMENTS IN
THE DATA BASE OF WORKS. IT TELLS ME THAT THE DOCUMENT MAY BE OPEN OR IT MAY
BE A READ ONLY DOCUMENT. NEITHER OF THESE APPLY TO THE DOCUMENTS.
