I can not restore my home page in internet explorer

My default home page has been taken over by advertising, i can not reset it
in the normal way tryed everything including sytems restore.
Can anyone suggest a way out of this.

hijacked homepage.
download and run AdAware and/or Spy Bot Search & Destroy.

some of those hijackers are a real pain to get rid it....and there are
entire forums dedicated to helping you.

you may be in for an adventure.

Given that you have got two answers, what on earth has your question got to
do with Microsoft /OFFICE/?

The answer to your question is that internet explorer came as part of my
office package and i could not find another suitabale heading to ask the
question in, hope this helps you rest easy now.

No it didn't - it's part of Windows.

Replace the comma with a period.

Also, if you are accessing the newsgroups through the Office portal
then the Windows and IE newsgroups can be a little harder to find.
