I cannot get publics folders to work offline

I cannot get publics folders to work offline.. I have
tried everything/resource I have. We have NT4 with
Exchange 5.5 and Outlook 2002.

Add the public folder to your favorites. (right-click the public folder....)

David, as far as I know, Public Folders will not work
offline. The only thing I have done is to create a
Personal Folder of the same name, and then copy the
contents of the Public Folder to the Personal Folder. We
use MS Exchange, and then when I syncronize, the stuff I
needed from the Public Folder stays on my laptop hard
drive. You have to tell Outlook to make the Personal
Folder available offline. You can only do this locally,
not on the server folder. I hope this makes sense.

Aloha PW,

Yes, public folders will work off line if you add them to your Public
Folders | Favorites group. They'll synchronize just like private folders
do.
